Metallurgist

It takes someone with experience in materials, engineering, welding

engineering or other material science to do this job. As a Principal

Material Scientist, you will select ferrous and non-ferrous metallic

materials, processing, application, welding materials, processes, and

create designs for multiple projects of great complexity. To be an asset

in this job, you must be able to plan and conduct projects while working

independently, act as a subject manner expert in standard metallic

materials and processes, investigate uses of alternate metallic

materials and processes, and provide input on strategic field and

manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services.

An undergraduate degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering,

Welding Engineering, Materials Science or similar discipline is

required. Must also have 7 years of related experience. A Masters degree

or PH.D in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Experience,

Materials Science, and certification as a licensed professional is

preferred.

Fresh graduates are not being considered for this position. Candidates
need to be Permanent Residents or US Citizens to be considered.

Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both internal and
