experience with non-metallic materials will be an asset in this job with
Halliburton. As Principal Non-Metallic Material Scientist, you will select
composites, elastomers, plastics, lubricants, and other non-metallic
materials for multiple projects of great complexity. Independently
planning and conducting projects of great scope and acting as subject
matter expert will position you for rewarding possibilities. An undergraduate degree in
Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or similar discipline is
required, along with 7 years of related experience. Completion of a Masters
or PH d in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science,
and certification as a licensed professional is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and
confidently with both internal and external customers; Oilfield
experience desired; Ability to develop and apply company sanctioned standards
and material & processing specifications; general knowledge
of elastomeric materials and processes; knowledge of elastomeric
lab equipment and capabilities Experience Needed: Plant floor
elastomeric experience preferred; backgound in supplier selection and
certification; minimum 5 years experience. Ability to communicate
